Wednesday, July 22, 1931 93° Clear McCormick, White, Paradise & I were together all morning. McCormink said our letter on cultivator requirements was having their earnest consideration and they realized they would have to meet them. Harold White & I both stood out for a 4000 lbs lift. Will probably have 1 3/8" Dia. power take off shaft. Expect to have new tractor built this fall. They are now trying out hydraulic lift on 4 row cultivator. They also expect to rebuild present Wide Tread putting steer on top, air cleaner & muffler out of the way etc. In field with tractor having irreversible steer & clutch to throw it out operated by the differential brakes. Worked O.K. McCormick, White, & Paradise present. At the Harry Priesters for supper.
