14412 388 Tuesday, May 31, 1938 We left Gordon Lodge at 807 this morning and drove 388 miles home by way of Milwaukee. Drove in 9 hrs elapsed time We brought some lilacs with us. It turned hot as we got away from the lake. We drove 837 miles on trip- Found letter from Lee saying she had passed her examination "Cum Laude" and asked us to call her on the phone as she had an exam today and could tell us the result. We talked to her and she said she thought she had passed. She would like to come home for 2 weeks but we told her it would be pretty expensive for so short a time so she is going to Worcester.
