Monday, March 23, 1931 Rain A rainy afternoon. Ben and I went to Mueller Bros. Taylor Ridge where we Saw a G.P.tractor with revised integral plow as shown in sketch of Feb. 4. The plow worked well & Mueller Bros liked it. Wheels and scrappers ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thought of this idea today - It is to have a tractor with adjustable tread and to use a hydraulic cylinder or other power means to force the wheels A to position A' This could be done by running tractor along ground and apply power thru hydraulic sylinder or by jacking up rear wheels & exerting power when wheel tread is adjusted as wanted the linkage to hydraulic cylinder would be disconnected.
