Sunday, March 13, 1938 We had a fine walk on Island. Very warm Elise and I went to church this morning. I went to Davenport to bring back Elise's mother, Sissy Iles, Eddie Mueller, Peggy, Janet Kruse, Dorothy Ann and Charlotte Capeon. Walter and Eda are on a trip South and it is Dorothy Annes 11th birthday So Elise had a birthday dinner and in afternoon took everyone to see "Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs" in Davenport I stayed home. George & Lucia French called as did Ted Guyer and his family with his sister Alice.
