Maneuvers from Hickam Field are almost constant. Elise * I did considerable shopping. I got a suit of slacks, cargings etc. Lee Elise and I went to the Outrigger Club for lunch. In afternoon we bought Lee & Bill a floor lamp. A bridge table and four floding chairs and various kitchen utensils. Bill got Mrs Brinker to sign an agreement to sell the house and gave her ten dollars in the agreement. I take gave Bill a check for $120000 made out to Lee so he can give $1800 to Waturnull to take care of the mortgage he holds on the house. When I get back to Moline I'm to send R.C. Brinker $220000 as the balance due. This will be taken out of Lee's savings account $3400 in all. The house will cost $400000 and Lee & Bill will take $600 of their savings here. We went to LAU YEE CHAI for a chinese dinner as guests of the Frank Dillinghams. Lee, Bill and Mrs WARREN there. It is a magnificent place, but dont care for chinese food.
