Wednesday December 10 1947 [Passenger's check:New York to Worcester] Bill developed a cold so stayed in. Amy joined Elise & me and the three of us took the 3rd ave. elevated to the Battery, then the ferry to Staten Island and back for the ride. Lunch at the "Skipper" and to see the skating at Rockefeller Center. Amy left us and Elise bought a chasmere sweater & blouse at Sales. Bought records of [??] We went to the Cander Puls 15 E 75st at 5 where Bill joined us. Then 5 of us went to the Mumfords for dinner at (1021 Park Ave (101 E 85 st Elise & I took the midnight sleeper for Worcester.
