Image 446 of Theo Brown Diaries, 1947
Public DepositedThursday December 11 1947 Reached Worcester early, and reached the farm at 8 - in time for breakfast. Mother and Kate both seem very well. Elise and I went up to Nellie Curtis's She wanted advice about selling land. We advised to sell even if at a sacrafice. After lunch Elise & I drove to Princeton. It snowed during the night. We found the house in good shape. The view from our porch is wonderful The leaves being off the trees makes our house visable from the Prestons where we stopped to see Bill's cat oliver. They like the cat. Stoppedto see Paul Fay gave him $10- for going into the house several times this winter. Stopped at Hamilton garage to make sure our electric stove will be repaired. Stopped at store. [Signatures: John W. Curtis Ruth C. Baker Kate Greene Kate C. Brown] here for dinner
