Monday, June 15, 1931 Clear In field all afternoon at Mueller Bros. Kough, Strandland, Johnson, [Bene ?], & Barnard there. Both 340 and 301 cultivators in field. Drove both in crossing corn. My impressions ar that, -- (1.) The 301 has better and surer dodge. (2.) The 340 " " view (3.) The 301 " " fore and aft clearance. (4.) The 340 " " chance to deduce cost of manufacture. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Necessary to get quicker adjustments on#250 series cultivators.
