Sjorgren/ morning with Oscar Sjorgren meeting Mitchell, Rullell, Shiz, Thomas & others. The plant looks to be well run and is clean. Went out to the McNally ranch 12 miles S.E. to see a plot of 160 acres that Sjorgren thought would make a good experimental farm. He is to get more information. At 1245 Mr & Mrs Sjorgren Elise and I drove out to Carolina Pines, Beverly Hills for lunch, then 20 odd miles back to their house where at 315 we picked up their som Stanley and drove 18 miles to Wilmington where we boarded the "LURLINE". It is quite impressive The Sjorgrens saw us sail. Letters from mother Kate Kitty Amy Elises mother aunt Ida & the Ted Pauls were awaiting us. We have an ourside stateroom No318 on "D" deck. It is fine with twin beds. Its $140 apeice - We have deck chairs 202-204 On B deck. Wlise andI both uncomfortable after dinner.
