Elise and I went to church. We were alone for the day.! Hello! Thursday I was glad to hear that your talk with Lee was satisfactory. You ask what insignis I wear. On my cap is orange piping ( the signal corps) on my suit a brass disc with the signal corps insignia [drawing: insignia] and on the left arm of blouse and coat is the insignia of the 3rd Interseptor Command that looks something like this [drawing: insignia] As I told you in my last letter, everyting is pretty well concused here, so nobody knows where we will go at the moment. The first Interseptor command havint changed their territory to include the entire Atlantic Coast. The Colonel & Major flew up to Washington to find out just what is happening. It makes one weary of the idea of government control of anything. everyone has a different idea about each thing ~ minds are changed frequently. By th way I did not get yellow fever shots ~ no, instead, a typhoid & tetanus shot, the first two of a new series ~ because of losing my records; I had all the shots at Wheeler (I didn't lose them I assure you) I wither will be immune for life to these diseases or get both. The current rumors are that we will go to Louisiana as in a mobile unit ~ God alone knows, so don't worry. Much love, Bill
