Public DepositedSaturday, May 28, 1938 Left Madison 8:30 in rain and drove 215 miles to Gordon Lodge. The country is so open. We found Lilacs in blossom up here. Mr & Mrs Beck their son Wm & his wife. Their daughterHelen Brady & her husband. Also a Mr Smith we met here two years ago. The place is filled for Memorial Day. We stopped for at Zohns the blacksmith & ordered a table which he promises in two weeks. It's great to be here, and all seem so glad to see us. 380 miles up here [Letter head: Gordon Lodge North Bay]
