Public DepositedThursday, March 20 1941 Clear [Headlines: Honolulu Adviser;War news] Went downtown with the Blounts while Elise visited Lee at school. We went thru the Japanese quarter. The weather here is too sticky for me. Its all right when there is a breeze but hot otherwise. I took the Blounts to the WAikiki Inn for lunch. We went in out bathing clothes and later in the ocean. I took the Blounts to the boat to check their bag. Then we bought Japanese umbrellas 135. We stopped at the Sampans and had french fried scallops. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Signature: David L.
