FRIDAY, JAN. 1, 1926 1 We saw the New Year in in a guiet way. Mother, father & Elise & I played bridge until 11 and then heard the clock strike the hour of twelve from Grace Church in New York over the radio. It was impressive. We were in Davenport for dinner. We called on Mrs Todd in morning, Mr Todd is in bed with a fever so we did not see him. They hope and expect to leave for California on the 4th.
