Public Deposited56 TUESDAY February 25th Clear Elise has been a little under the weather the last two days. It seems to be a little touch of the flu. She still feels rather poorly. Reached Brownsville at 830 A.M. Took Head & McCray to see Broken Chain housing on D & M. standard track tractor. It may be we will have to have G. P. [?] too. Breaker from Waterloo. It is the [?] Ben wired about on Saturday. Unfortunately D.& M. cant use it as it is in the way of their braces when lifted. This brace 3/8" rd is made with ends [Sketch; ?] lbs this and [?] with long cap down to the housing plate in front of center of axle.. This brace can only go on one way and even then it strikes [ f ?] in up stroke. Head & McCray quite impressed with 28" row bean cultivator McCray is fearful about offset wheel bearings in rear and offset of front wheel. Both Head & McCray stated that it is the Tractor Co job to work this out and are to do so. We to let them know latest date possible when these can be furnished. The Plister here will be made into a std wide track Head & McCray went with Scott in afternoon to see broken chain housings. They left for San Antonio in evening. Talked with Ben Kough on phone, explaining about braces & bean job.
