Thursday Jan. 15 1948 Elise went to St. Louis on thesleeper this evening for acheck upwith Dr Kountz. A truck of B.M. Cox Transit Co. Hillsboro ILL ran into the rear end of the Pontiac this evening. I was waiting at a stop light when the truck slid into the Pontiac twisting the truck door quite badly. The truck driver admitted it was his fault; his wheels slid. Said to send bill.
