Warm & springlike Saturday, March 12, 1938 Charlie Stone and I went down to the Wagon Works to talk to Bozeman & Tuft about yesterdays results at Tractor factory. Tuft wants holesfor studs tapped in front pedistal in place of horizontal cored hole. It developed in talking to McCormick that it would be necessary to put a pipe in place of core. Stone talked to Rowland suggesting that costs be figured with tapped holes as against a pipe. Later found pipe 5 cents cheaper. Still later Stone said they might go to tapped holes. In afternoon Elise and I looked at Pontiacs. We can get 8 for 640 & 6 for $575 and '34 buick.
