Public DepositedMarch 8 WEDNESDAY 67 [Weather marked as Clear] Reached Washington at 9 and came out to the ShorehamonCalvert St. 8 of us have apt 100E. We saw McCray & Bray and have a meeting at 9:30 and 2 tomorrow. McCuen, Seitz & I went thru the National Museum and then thru Arlington & the [Roth & Lee?] home. Ate lunch at an oyster bar. Went to the Philaletic agency and brought 3 c coil & 6c coil. There are many new department buildings going up that are very beautiful. Present are: Signatures: J Brownlee Davidson Harold I Boyle G. Wm McCuen Chas. E. Seitz Fred. A. Wut R. M. Beasingame Theo Brown [Can't read] Called on Harry & Eleanor Loomis in evening. Saw his stamp collection. We had a swim in the pool at Shoreham. Taxis (7000 of them) in Washington have a flat rate of 20 cents anywhere in the city. The Shoreham is a very classy and fine hotel.
