SATURDAY, May, 8, 1920 129 The day of the wedding. Kate has 203 presents so far. Many of the Greene relatives arrived today. It rained hard. We all (24) went to Phil & Marjories for dinner at noon. The wedding was at 4. Evarts, Jerome Greene & Jr. and Charles Griffin & I were ushers. Kate & father walked up the aisle alone. The church was impressively decorated with pines & daisies. About 125 came out to the farm later. Kate & Roger left at 8.30
