Thursday, August 7, 1941 Clear [Headlines: Boston Herald; Draft] At four this afternoon bill telephoned that he could come for supper. So I went over to Ft. Devens at 515 and brought Jimmy Syner & Bill back for supper. They both listened to records. Bell met Jimmy today for the first time, he is a graduate of Brown and has been in the R.C.C. [Drawing: Bill? in uniform?] three weeks. He and Bill have many tasted in common and Bill seems to have taken a new interest in life since meeting him. He has told bill about the library, reading room and hostess house.It would be fine if the two boys could be in the same camp for they have a lot in common. At 830P.M.
