Monday, August 30, 1937 Rather hot & sticky Clear Geo Hanna started this morning to lay 2 stone posts at the entrance of our place and straighten and relay part of the wall. I finished cutting out the dead wood near the road. Mother bought Mrs Bacon up tothe tea room for lunch and they stopped to see us. I took them to the farm and there I saw Florence Bacon whom I don't suppose I'd seen for over 30 years. Mother expects to drive to Intervale tomorrow for a week or two. Elise & I did errands in preparation for a dinner we expect to give Wednesday.
