FRIDAY FEB. 22 1946 Charlie Wiman spent 11/2 hours this afternoon in looking at the mower we have just built for the #101 tractor in which we use a belt drive from pulley on front end of crank shaft. He was considerably impressed. I told him that I was very deeply concerned about getting the design of implements carried alnog with the design of the tractor I think it made a deep impression on Charley. It is a difficult situation for Nordenson who has been given the #101 for final design is a bit tempermental and ther fact that Bill Cade is working on (See Article from BusinessWeek on page Feb 17 ) [Photographs: tractor cultivator] this job under Nordenson makes me more than anxious not to do anything to hurt Nordenson's feelings . I think I have handled it OK. so far.
