Calculus III Note-taking Guide Booklet
Public DepositedDownloadable Content
open in viewerThese note-taking guides allow for students to easily organize their notes in a similar fashion to a set of lecture notes or to follow along through parts of the textbook. It also saves the students time writing organizational portions of the notes that aren't relevant to the content of the material (e.g. writing the word "definition" is more helpful for reading notes later, not for understanding in the moment). This time saved allows for students to spend more time actively thinking about the material at hand. The LaTeX files are available to adjust to your curriculum needs. The intended difference between examples and problem sets were that examples are meant to be a portion of a the lecture and the problem sets were meant to be worked on by the students either individually or in a group before going through them as a class. These guides were created through the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Women’s Impact Network EMPOwER grant program.
These open-source mathematics note taking guides are created to help students with note-taking and correspond to chapters in OpenStax Calculus Volume I, II, and III, which are licensed under an Attribution-NonCommercial-Sharealike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA).
