Public DepositedFRIDAY NOV. 12 1948 Dr Eng C.H. Dencker spent the day with me. Bob Merrill with us too going over implements that Germany might need. Bill Cade phoned at five saying Sass had telegraphed that Ella Lange would sell her house for $15,000 having come down from her previous price of $17,000. Lee likes the house very much and so does Bill. We suggested they come down and they might want to talk to Virginia French about renting her garage apartment. They called back at eight saying Bill's eye would not let him come and they thought they would rather buy than rent. Both Elise and I advised their buying and that pleased them. So they are to telegraph their acceptance of the offer & let us know as soon as they know it is accepted ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lee and Bill telephone at 6.30 Saturday evening saying the deal for Ella's house was closed and they expect to move down Dec 5. They are very much pleased and so are we.
