Sunday, October 24, 1937 Clear At 11 this morning we took Elise's mothe, Helen and Charley Stone to Mt Carrol, to see an exhibit of pictures that was at the Francis Schriner School. Helen exhibited three pictures. We had a very good dinner at the Koffee Kup at Mt Carrol. The foliage was magnificent. A very satisfactory day. Lee and Bill telephoned at 5 from Northampton wishing Elise a happy birthday. Bill went up to spend the day with Lee. It touched Elise deeply to have them telephone.
