Public DepositedSPECIAL DATA FAR EASTERN WAR SCENE [Drawing: Map, Indo-China] [Drawing: Flower] Observers in Shanghai believed the Japanese, reported concentrating at Hainan, were planning a move into French Indo-China. Far eastern experts in Washington, D.C. believed Japan's reported new demands on Indo-China were based on deternimation to place Japanese forces within striking distance of Singapore and to Dutch East Indes and that a moce into Indo China would also put them in position for a clow at China's Burma road supply line.
