Caption: This Committee of prominent college presidents met here [Pittsburg] recently to selectrecipients of Gulf Oil Foundation 1977 Scholarships for children of Gulf Oil Corporation employees and for Minority Science and Engineering students in Pittsburg and Houston. These scholarships are part of Gulf's Aid to Education Program under which approximately $3 million will be distributed to colleges and universities throughout the United States during 1977.
