SATURDAY FEB. 7 1948 Pooh has the measles. Elise and I got a hind quarter of beef today at Smiths Apple House. 98lbs @ 59¢ a lb. + 31/2¢ for processing & quick freezing. We are putting it in our Freezer. Worked all afternoon on 1947 income taxes In evening Elise & I went over to Lee's as sittersso she and Bill could out to dinner. Dear little Pooh is as good as can be but feels most uncomfortable. Little Theo was given measles shots so he wont have as severe a case of measles.
