WEDNESDY OCT. 26 1949 Elise and I went up to Chicago on the 1020 Rocket. In afternoon I went with Elise while she bought a dinner dress and a hat. at 6 there was a cocktail party for the Directors and their wives at the Stevens Then all the Directors & Eddie Cantor sat at the two speakers tables.
