There was to be a committee meeting of the Senate to pass on the Dooley Safety device. In Springfield we were joined by [Signature: F.H. Harrison] of I.H.C. and Bob Banks. We saw Martin Lohman chairman of committee to consider this Dooley bill. e told us it was a crazy bill and all Dooley wanted was a handout and he would kill the bill. Frank Harrison drove back to Moline with me. Saw plowing for first time day. It is first warm day. Found Court was in field for first time with finger tip control towed plow It showed signs of working. [Headlines: Moline Daily Dispatch;World News]
