So corn on fertile land may be more infested than on sandy land One thing may be to plant late and hurry the corn along by a complete fertilizer dropped in each hill Unless corn is hurried by fertilizer the yield goes down with late planting. Cornsofertilized planted 3 weeks later will [dent?] at same time as corn3 week earlier planting
