Tuesday, July 27, 1937 Cool Clear Directors Meeting Charlie Wiman arrived home at 1030 from Europe this morning Our business never looked better. We are 18 millions ahead of last year now. and we should do over 92 millions this year in volume & make 20 millions profit. The last of the back dividends on prefered amounting to one dollar a share was voted paid today in addition to the regular dividend and one dollar a share on common. This is the first dividnd on common forseveral years. A meeting is to be held Sept 15 of stockholders to vote on increasing the number of shares of common stock to 5 million. One million 26x hundred thousand voted for factory & branch house additions & equipment. About 57000 tractors built this year 4000 combines - Average wage over 76¢ No labor troubles in prospect. F&H & Moline Iron are CI0 but we have signed individual contracts with 4 of our plants. Crops are particularily good.
