Monday, March 4, 1940 Henry Dreyfuss and Barnhart were here today to go over transfers of "John Deere"-- trademark, dealers sign etc. Had Charley Wiman and Charley Stone sit in our meeting and demonstration for 2 hours. The new lettering and transfers appeals to them and all of us present agreed it was the thing to use.I'm to sell the factories with the backing of Wiman &Stone. On galvanized it looks as though more black outline would be necessary. Dreyfuss is going to submit sample. Elise& I took Henry Dreyfuss &Herb Barnhart to the 77 club for dinner.
