Monday 265 92° hOTSeptember 22 Clear At the spreader works this morning with Murray. Had quite a session with Neighbor and Herman about making an off set wheel for wide tread tractor to get to 68" tread. They agreed to make one. Thought of this idea today to make a front axle for general purpose tractor so that the wheels can be spaced as in standard tractors about 42" centers or can be narrowed up as in wide tread tractors. And so that when standards A are set at A' [drawing: front axle for G.P. Tractor] Surface B is locking Witnessed meansSeptember 22nd 1930 against oscillation. [Signature: W.G.
