Public DepositedFRIDAY JUNE 13 1947 Maynard Coe telephoned this afternoon saying that there was being a revision of the National Safety Council set up and that it would be possible to have more representation of the Farm Division on the executive committee of the Safety Council. Guy Nobile and Maynard want me to be a member of the Executive committee of the National Safety Council. It would mean attending about 9 meetings a year one half in New York and one half in Chicago. I asked Maynard to write me all about it and I would talk it over here. I did say I wold not want to serve more than a year or two. Elise & I at the Caldwell Rosboroughs for dinner.
