SATURDAY NOV. 20 1948 Lee Bill Elise & I went to Davenport this morning to select the rug Elise & I are to give to Lee & Bill. Found what we wanted at the NU WAY rug co. Its a plain grey. Also looked at chairs. Lee & Bill paid for their house and got the deed today. They went back to Dubuque right after lunch Elise and I at the Les Kelloggs for dinner. The Woody Curtis's and James McAher's there too.
