Friday, April 12, 1940 Came thru a snow storm in Indiana with about 250 temperature. Meet Lourie at Deere & Co office. He is on his way home from Florida and looks very well. He has been off the job since early in December. At Rubber Tire meeting all mroning at Palmer house. A final decision was made on tractor and implement tires 32 present , Feaher, Coultas & Neighbor there from Deere & Co. Meeting lasted till 4 P.M. Next meeting to be in September. Came down on train with Frank Silloway Patty & Charlie Wiman. All were interested to hear about Patent Dinner. Still great uncertainty as to War news.
