Image 56 of Theo Brown Diaries, 1920
Public DepositedFRIDAY,Feb. 20, 1920 51 We went out 35 miles from Dallas today to see the new disc plow We went over the worst roads I have ever seen without exception. The plow was late in getting to the farm so we did not have a chance to see much of it. The ground was so wet & sticky we could not tell much about it. 6. On the rear casting provision must be made to attach a clevis for 2nd plow. 7. As a 4 disc 8" cut plow in heavy going the back bone weaved a little. Mr Duke wanted me to stay over and see a cotton picker. The farmers name is H.W. Miles at Terrell Texas. [Newspaper clipping: "Temperature in Dallas..."]
