Founded in 1906 by WPI alumnus George I. Rockwood, Class of 1888, the Rockwood Sprinkler Company of Worcester, Massachusetts was among the industry leaders in the manufacture and installation of automatic fire-suppression sprinkler systems. This advertisement, from an issue of the journal, Fireman, shows many of the products produced by Rockwood's Portable Fire Protection Division in 1957.
