ROTC Training
PublicCaption: Firing of organic branch weapons is an important part of the cadets training at the Fort Belvoir Engineer-Ordnance ROTC summer camp. While at Camp A. P. Hill, Virginia for their bivouac and weapons training, the six companies of cadets fired the 3.5 Rocket Launcher (shown here) as well as other crew served and individual weapons. In firing these weapons, strict safety rules were observed along with normal range operating procedure. The six week encampment closes on 31 July with a formal parade and commissioning ceremonies for those cadets who have completed both their college and ROTC work.
