Tuesday, May 24, 1938 Wonderful weather- cool & delightful. With Lourie, Railsback & Keat went to IHC East Moline plant and saw their markings on Corn Picker. We then went to John Deere Harvester Works and decided what to do on our picker in the way of safety marking. I am having plaster brands made at Spreader Works. IHC use 2 brands 11 times JD " 5 " Miss Mabel Todd at our house for dinner. The Louries called in evening. Mabel Todd is a fine woman-----
