Monday, November 29, 1937 Clear At Sears Roebuck in morning meeting Sims, John Bohneker, and Bopf there. They want licenses under our patents and I think will take a license for power lift They are going over our agreements and will have a meeting before long. We went over Sears Roebuck and saw how the 47000 letter and orders of a quarter million articles a day are handled. Its tremendous. Orders are weighed not counted. In afternoon Bopf and I met G.D. Jones at our offices and went over our power lift patents with him. They (the Cleveland Tractor Co) probably want licenses under mechanical lift but do not feel they infringe hydraulic. After Jones has had a chance to study our agreement we dill meet again. Our 24th wedding anniversary. We went to dinner with Doz Curtis at Stop & Shop and then we took her to see "Brother Rat" a comedy on Broad lines.
