Público DepositedTuesday, January 20, 1931 Snow Left for Chicago at noon on my way to Syracuse & Worcester. Comfortable trip on train ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thursday Marjorie said- Uncle Will was baking a deep apple pie Tuesday morning at about 10 he fell over on the floor. Kendall the man called Mrs Adams the neighbor. She came right over and called Dr Emery & Phil. They got there by 11 and took Uncle Will up to his room and had a nurse. Marjorie came down at 12 and uncle Will said "Oh Marjorie". From then on he began to lapse into unconsiousness. He put his hand to his head and mumbled that his side felt queer. The doctor said he had suffered a severe stroke apoplexy Phil stayed that night and uncle Will remained unconsious till Wednesday at midnight when he died peacefully. For flowers Phil, Ruth, Amy, Kate & We with snapdragons sent a spray of white calla lillies ^for the foot of the casket. and for mother & uncle Ed a spray of Easter Lillies.
