TUESDAY NOVEMBER 5 1946 Election Day. Elise and I voted early. We had Rube Rosenfield, Fifi, Helen & Charley Stone Lee and Bill as our guests at the DAvenport Club for dinner. Election returns started coming in aobut 8 PM and as the evening went on it became apparent the slogan " "HAD ENOUGH" vote Republican" was having its effect. Later we went to the Argus Charley & Patty Wiman & Mrs Buttereworth going too. Here we saw Walter Rosenfield.
