ROC curve is commonly used to compare the performance of models. It is usually used in binary classification, but it can also be used in multiclass classification using averaging methods. This thesis will explore how to use ROC curves to compare the performance of models in multiclass classification using macro and micro averaging methods. Also, I will compare the performance of the two ROC curve averaging methods by calculating the sum of absolute deviation for predicted values from the actual values.
