Warped Reality is a VR game aimed at raising awareness that fake news always cheats people, and it is better to do critical thinking when facing something you are not sure. Players could investigate the truth behind some accidents through a first-person perspective. Unlike traditional VR games, players use gestures to interact, which provides players with a more realistic and immersive experience. We also designed and implemented a set of gestures to interact with the game. The gestures are not only designed for this game. Most of them can be applied to all the gesture-controlled VR games. An evaluation with 20 people was done to test if their awareness about fake news has been raised after playing the game and if the gestures help improve the immersive experience. The results show that the game helps players raise awareness that fake news always cheats people and get to know serious problems caused by fake news.
