Detection of Degradation Phenomena Using a Custom Spectrophotometric Device
Public DepositedDownloadable Content
open in viewerA device capable of detecting degradation in red blood cells remotely, continuously, and non-invasively is needed in both research applications and commercial applications alike. Different forms of degradation phenomena are common in experimental methods relating to supercooling, including ice nucleation and hemolysis. Proposed in this study is a device with the potential capability to detect the occurrence of either phenomena, which could save researchers time and resources.
