Labyrinth Technologies Smart City Integrated Autonomous Microtransit Electric Vehicle

Public

Labyrinth Technologies from St. Louis, Missouri, is working on an autonomous microtransit system that is integrated with its Xanthon™ Smart City Infrastructure. This practicum project focused on building the foundation for an economical low-speed self-driving electric vehicle (EV) for fixed-route passenger transportation in urban environments that can be controlled through Labyrinth’s Smart City Infrastructure platform, Xanthon. During the span of the project, EV remote-control mode and location-based autonomy were achieved and the Xanthon interface web applications were built. The result of this project enabled future vision integrations, more advanced autonomous controls, direct user control through Xanthon web application, and other Internet of Things (IoT) integrations.
