Foundations of Fire Protection Engineering

Home to the first master’s program and one of only three fire protection engineering graduate programs in the United States, WPI’s Fire Protection Engineering Department has driven significant cutting-edge research, developed real-world solutions through its state-of-the-art fire laboratories, and graduated highly trained, influential, in-demand experts.

The Foundations of Fire Protection Engineering collection comprises elements from faculty, alumni, and other contributors to the field of fire protection engineering from its inception through today. Major resources include the papers and collections of noted fire protection engineers: Duane D. Pearsall, David A. Lucht, Howard G. Freeman, and Howard Emmons.
